Very tasty food prepared with love and expertise. We booked again the next day because Wednesdays and Thursdays are closed. We recommend.
The first time we were sent away because there was hardly anything left to eat and it was time to go home. Next time there were only two dishes to choose from. When the food came after a long time, it wasn't great. Meat was hard and the plate was put together carelessly. The two stars are for the friendly service. The food is not worth the price.
You arrive after a 25km hike and 9 minutes after the shop opens, asks for a wheat and is barked at: We don't ham! The lady explained that she actually has no time at all, but then she was implored to let a cyclist into the glass for 3.90 euros .... Dealing with guests is different!
Please get lost in this place! There is delicious food here, including time to talk to each other, because everything is freshly prepared here and that needs preparation, cooking and serving time, which can be wonderfully used to exchange ideas. No fast food hopp hopp, but especially seasoned and cooked, served and decorated. Everything can be eaten - including the red clover blossom. A down-to-earth restaurant on the one hand and a little darling on the other. I have planned to eat here for a long time and have spoken to my family from time to time. For my birthday I got it as a present and was really looking forward to it. I was not disappointed and will be back. (Not just for a birthday.)
Lured by a wonderful article in a brochure, we reserved a table online for 12:00 noon today. Due to the menu that can be viewed on the Internet, we had already “tuned in” to certain dishes. We were there at around 11:30 a.m. It was no problem at all to take the reserved table now. Unfortunately, the chairs on the terrace are very uncomfortable. One or the other container plant could have been watered again. I don't even know if we would have had the choice to sit in it. Before we even ordered the drinks, we were told what NOT to have. All of the cold starters were not available. The first disappointment. Yes, we are flexible and we were looking forward to a guinea fowl breast (in a different version than noted in the menu) for 17.00 euros and to the “ragout of Langburkersdorfer noble fish in Asian style with chilli, ginger and coconut milk, with saffron basmati rice Cashew nuts and a small salad ”for 21.00 euros. Drinks and food were served promptly. Guinea fowl and side dishes were very nicely presented and of good taste. What I can't say about the fish ragout. Even the sight was very disappointing. I was kind of reminded of canteen food. The few pieces of fish were well cooked. But the massively thickened sauce, you can also call it crude mush, had almost no taste. I was looking forward to chili and ginger ... unfortunately none. The salad was fresh. However, it would have been better if the kitchen staff had also washed the lettuce thoroughly. Several times sand or the like could be felt. Regarding the Amuse Gueule, I have to say that my meat salad was probably no longer fresh. Conclusion: We had hoped for a lot more and wanted to end the holiday with a really good meal. Did not work. We were really disappointed ... and at prices that are absolutely not justified. Or rather ... it is a cheek to charge 21 euros for the fish dish. We are definitely not coming again.
Completely overrated food quality, again, although this time only a few tables were occupied due to CoronaDistance. Kitchen and service totally overwhelmed! 2 dishes were already over, but that was only mentioned AFTER the order! Broken wilted old flowers in the vase on the table !!!! No greeting when entering. Not felt welcome!
Curious about the ZDF turntable and not disappointed !!!! The food as an experience - good ingredients that you can taste and a cook who cooks with a heart. The look on the plate is the proverbial THE EYE EATS! But it all starts with breakfast: so many loving details and delicious jams ...... and the cheese variations !!!!! Thank you very much, Dr Siebert, we'll be back!

The food was delicious and of very good quality. The hospitality was friendly. However, the waiter often seemed stressed. Charming location.

Excellent three-course menu at reasonable prices. It's hard to believe that there is a friendly clientele here, but the terrace was full. A lack of cell phone reception forces real conversations with the companions. Be careful who you take with you. Charming service, nice domestic cat, great experience!
A real gourmet restaurant. Excellent food, price / performance ratio is right. Very good and sophisticated service. We will be back. Unrated room as we were only there for dinner.
The food was great in terms of taste, we were all thrilled, the waiting time was a bit long and the portions could have been a bit bigger. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and we felt very comfortable.
Made a stopover to our holiday quarters immediately found space in the beautiful garden Service was a bit jerky and with the guests (some) a little overwhelmed would soon have knocked over our wine and that at the drink prices would be fatally nicely arranged but clearly for a country inn expensive. We won't come back sooner
Rarely eaten so well! Very familiar, comfortably furnished and fresh / regional cuisine. Were surprised and enthusiastic! We will definitely be back. Only possible on reservation!

We spent a very comfortable week here! The guesthouse is run with a lot of love and heart and you felt (with dog!) Received a warm welcome! We had liberties as a guest with friends and can only say that we can highly recommend the country inn as a starting point for hiking tours. The owner knows all about the area and tries to live up to every wish. She runs the cottage alone with a few helpers to serve the dishes. She does her own cooking as well and the dishes are absolutely extraordinary and yet delicious! In any case, you would not expect such an upscale kitchen in the middle of the pampas! Hats off :) The rooms are clean and comfortable and again with much love for the Deteil. Of course, here is the rustic charm to mention. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish the operator many more successful years and great guests! It is important to know, however, that Thursdays are closed and you should generally call in the area beforehand if you want to register for dinner. There are opening hours, but since the country inn is run privately and alone, it must be expected that no one is there. ;)
The importance of good regional cuisine is in good hands here, even if the prices for a village inn seem too high, it is worth the price it tastes ?. The boss comes personally and explains the dishes when the time is right, the love for cooking is tangible here.

2x night, 2x breakfast and 1x dinner and everything was pretty great. We felt very comfortable. Compared to the environment a bit more expensive, but the food is delicious, regional and made with love. And from there you are in 15-30 minutes at the Wanderhotspots of Saxon Switzerland.
Dr. Seibert offers an innovative menu based on locally sourced ingredients. She then infuses them with respect and care. She shows a same level of appreciation for her customers. It adds up to an experience not just a fine meal.
Excellent food in cosy atmosphere. Will come back soon.
